Security

Schools are rightly very sensitive about the security of pupil data and we have gone to great length to ensure the security of data. We do not make copies of the data or require schools to input data in two places. All data resides with the school so there is no threat from Groupcall to the integrity of the data. This contrasts some systems where data resides on the Internet. This reduces the potential for misuse of the product. In addition, all messages are prefaced with an authenticated Groupcall identity making it impossible for messages to be sent to parents by someone purporting to be the school.

A secure web site with password-protected access for school administrators ensures that ongoing remote communication can be maintained even in the event of an emergency that renders the school inaccessible or its computer system unusable.
